Individual advising is available on an hourly basis, or you can choose from discounted advising packages and comprehensive application support. Whether you're looking for a single brainstorming session, ongoing essay coaching, or comprehensive support through the entire college application process, we have a service that fits your goals. Both Jill and Armin are available for booking online. We are local to the western suburbs of Chicago. If you are interested in in-person tutoring, you can book time with Jill and she will reserve space at the Thomas Ford Library in Western Springs, IL.

What sets us apart is our highly personalized, relationship-based approach. We are a small team of just two coaches, which allows us to work very closely with every student we support. Each student works with the same coach throughout the process, so we can build a deep understanding of their story, strengths, and goals. We focus on helping students develop authentic, compelling essays through guided brainstorming, strategic feedback, and step-by-step support.

Yes. You'll work with the same coach throughout the entire process. We intentionally build a relationship with each student, taking the time to understand their experiences, personality, and goals. That deeper understanding allows us to provide more personalized guidance and helps students write essays that are authentic, meaningful, and uniquely their own. 

Most students complete their personal statement in 5–7 hours of one-on-one advising. The exact amount of time varies based on the student's writing style and pace, but we find that this timeframe allows for thoughtful brainstorming, drafting, revisions, and polishing to produce a strong, authentic essay.
